Why you'd want to live in Oxnard

Oxnard is the most populous city in Ventura County, and it has plenty to offer. With beautiful beaches, museums, an excellent comedy club and easy access to the Channel Islands there’s plenty to do. There’s also some great city events each year that draw diverse people from all over, not least the International Salsa Festival (the music not the sauce!). The climate in Oxnard is perfect, sunshine all year but rarely getting too hot. It’s proximity to Los Angeles is another big draw and new developments have attracted a new generation of younger middle class residents. There’s great shopping at The Collection too, which even boasts a Whole Foods. There are some great schools in the area too, with all achieving ratings above the national average and some excelling.
